It includes more than thirty companies and foundations including petroleum extraction operations, general trading, financial services, education, real estate investment, general contracting, engineering consultancy, electromechanical activities, printing, media, travel and tourism. The group first ventured into the hospitality industry in 2005 and has already established its presence in the region with hotels in Dubai, Al Ain, Abu Dhabi and with plans to expand the number of properties significantly in the future.   New projects     Upcoming properties Three new hotel projects are currently under development, effectively doubling the portfolio by 2014.  New projects include:- Opening 2011. Royal City Seasons Hotel Abu Dhabi, a substantially sized hotel with 461 rooms and 34 suites located in the heart of the capital. Opening 2012. City Seasons Park Hotel Abu Dhabi is located in the centre of Abu Dhabi and will feature 106 standard rooms spread over 10 floors. It will also include non-smoking rooms and rooms for the handicapped. Three dining options and a poolside terrace offer a range of outlets. The health club comprises a gym and separate Sauna and steam room facilities. Opening 2012.City Seasons Hotel Bur Dubai. This 200- room hotel, with its magnificent interiors and unique architecture, will be located in the heart of the shopping and business districts and will be close to metro stations making it ideal for both business and leisure travellers alike.
